This unique pocket puzzle is a marvel of creative engineering. The bronze metal star has a strange box stuck on one of its five points. But some careful twisting and turning will reveal a startling mechanical movement—the box can move around the star, or perhaps the star can move through the box! This surprising gear-like motion of the two pieces was the inspiration for the name of the puzzle. An attractive design with a very challenging solution. Even once you get the pieces apart, you may have trouble remembering the exact sequence for next time.
